1. Airflow first

Prefer mesh fronts over glass or closed panels. The basic rule: fresh air comes in through the front and bottom, hot air leaves through the back and top.

2. Compatibility

  • Motherboard form factor: ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX.
  • Graphics card length: current cards can exceed 330 mm.
  • Cooler height and radiator size, if you use a liquid cooler.
  • Power supply length.

3. Fans

A good case comes with at least 2–3 fans. If it only has one, add two 120/140 mm fans at the front pulling air in.

4. Details that make a difference

  • Removable, washable dust filters.
  • Space behind the motherboard to tuck cables away.
  • Front USB-C ports.
  • Tempered glass instead of acrylic, which scratches.
Summary: mesh front, 3 fans and enough room for your graphics card. Open the comparator →
